This Set Includes 1 Watercolor Art Print Tea Towel + 1 Small Handwoven Dishcloth, $26
Opal, a gorgeous Wyandotte Hen in Watercolor is the focal point of this collection. Opal was painted by my very talented friend of Laura Sheridan Artwork, and then printed onto traditional cotton tea towels. Then I take the color palette she worked with and create matching pieces to make sweet little Backyard Flock Themed Gift Sets, perfect for a farmhouse kitchen, or a friend who loves chickens.
We hope that you enjoy our original joint art venture - we sure have enjoyed our chicken adventures:-) Opal is inspired by Laura's own flock of hens. In my backyard flock, I have a Mottled Houdan, Steele Egger, Blue Cuckoo Maran, Speckled Sussex, Frizzle, Exchequor Leghorn, Dark Brahma, and a White Crested Blue Polish. They are a wild bunch, and loads of entertainment!
Even though Laura and I now live in different cities, our art remains a bit part of our friendship, supporting each other in what we are working on, and occassionally working together.
